As is my wont, I finally got around to installing the April 10 "Patch Tuesday" updates from Windows Update.
Before doing this, however, today I ran Secunia's PSI 2.0 on my Win 7/sp1 system to determine if anything else needed to be updated. I was surprised when PSI reported I was 100% patched, including all MS updates. I ran it twice to be sure. Clearly this was wrong. Both the Windows Update site, and Belarc Advisor (v.8.1p) correctly detected that I had important/critical MS patches for April not installed.
When PSI 3.0 was released, I did not like it's dumbed down GUI, so I did not upgrade. But it appears that Secunia's PSI 2.0 is no longer being supported, at least as far as MS patches are concerned.
Just an FYI for anyone still using PSI 2.0.
