I had purchased the Dell Inspiron 3000 on the 2nd of November. The following day, I received an e-mail which goes as the following:
Dear [MY NAME],
This is Sanjana from Dell Computers
Thank you for choosing Dell,
Find in attached the Quote that you tried to buy it online on the 2nd Nov 17, Internet Reference number [MY INTERNET REFERENCE NUMBER HERE] using your PayPal, The order didn’t go through as we are unable to claim that money from your PayPal account and you will have to re do the order with me using a card instead with me and you will not be able to do it online now as this will trigger 2 orders.
The amount will still show as pending on hold by Dell on your PayPal but do not worry I will get that hold released back with in next 24-48 hours after we process the order
Please reply on this email as "HAPPY TO PROCEED" so that I can call you or you can call me on the below number so that we can proceed with the order

I spotted a lot of spellings mistakes, double spaces instead of single spaces, misuse of words, wrong tense, and as well as many other things (punctuation, grammar, spelling). This e-mail seems very suspicious to me since it is asking me to pay through credit card instead of redirecting to purchase the laptop on the official website.
Also, I have had no issues paying with PayPal until now, and 'Dell employee' is asking for me to use my credit card to purchase this laptop through an unofficial e-mail, rather than the official website.
If anyone is experienced or is a Dell customer service assistant, please help me verify the legitimacy of this e-mail that I had received.
